When someone has a heart for justice, it doesn’t mean they are walking the halls of government. It basically means they are honest and treat all people fairly. This prayer based on Amos 8:4-6 is asking the Father to give us a heart for everyday justice. Why don’t you pray this prayer and share it to your page?
Prayer
Lord, give us Your heart for justice. Fill us with compassion for the needy. Let our business be rooted in honesty and integrity. May we treat the poor with respect and dignity. For You are a God of justice, and may we be Your people of justice in Jesus’ name, amen.
Amos 8:4-6
Hear this, you who trample the needy and do away with the poor of the land, saying, “When will the New Moon be over that we may sell grain, and the Sabbath be ended that we may market wheat?”— skimping on the measure, boosting the price and cheating with dishonest scales, buying the poor with silver and the needy for a pair of sandals, selling even the sweepings with the wheat.
