Jesus commanded us to make disciples. You’re to have disciples just like Jesus had disciples. Being a disciple-maker doesn’t mean we need to be filled with great knowledge. It means we need to be filled with great love.  This love will help us connect to the people that need our help in the growth process. This prayer puts you in the right mindset to make disciples. Pray this prayer. Share it with your friends and make disciples. 

Prayer

Jesus, I will labor among Your saints teaching and discipling them. I commit to loving and connecting with Your people so I can bring them to a place of maturity in Christ. I’ll seek relational authority with people by investing in their lives. I’ll teach them so they’ll stand perfect in the ways of Christ. Teach me to make quality disciples, one at a time. I will carry on Your ministry in Your name, amen. 

Colossians 1:28-29

  He is the one we proclaim, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone fully mature in Christ. To this end I strenuously contend with all the energy Christ so powerfully works in me.
