There’s no turning back. The Galatians turned back to the law because it brought the luxury of self-reliance. God will always lead us forward, and we’ll have to trust him the entire journey. Keep your faith in Jesus and keep moving forward. If you need some help with this, then pray this prayer crafted from Galatians 4:9-11. It’s a good place to start. Then share it with some friends and family members.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, heirs have no need to return to the lesser things of this world.  In this case the Galatians turned back to the law, but by Your grace I will turn back to nothing. I will press forward to full maturity. I will develop in the Spirit, not abandon it in Jesus name, amen. 

Galatians 4:9-11

But now that you know God—or rather are known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.
