When the Lord has given you a heart to seek his face, if your pursuit is rooted in your own strength, then you’ll hit a wall. Your pursuit of His face must be empowered by His Spirit and grace. The activation of this empowerment is rooted in hunger, faith and determination.  This prayer based on Habakkuk 3:19 seeks to mix all of these ingredients.  I hope this prayer encourages you to seek His face. Prayer

You’re the God that empowers and strengthens. You will give me the capacity to climb to the heights in You. I’m going to the mountain of the Lord (Psalm 15). I will live a life in Your presence and I will seek to see things from Your perspective. I am seated with You and I’m governing with You (Ephesians 2:6). I’m declaring based on the authority of Your word that I’m living a life close to You in Jesus name, amen.

Habakkuk 3:19

The Sovereign Lord is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, he enables me to tread on the heights.
