The only person that loves our lost loved ones more than us is the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Our God has set a plan in motion to save the world, but he also listens to our prayers. I believe as we pray for the lost, the Holy Spirit intensifies His work of convicting them of sin, righteousness and coming judgement (John 16:8). Why don’t you use this prayer, based on 1 John 5:6-9, to cry out for your lost loved ones. Let this be a spark that lights the fire of intercession for them. I believe that God will work and they will be saved!

Prayer

Father, pour out Your Spirit on the earth intensifying Your testimony of Jesus within the world. Bring the world to Jesus, but also intensify the Spirit’s conviction and drawing power within my circle of influence (John 6:44). Bring my lost friends and family to Jesus! Burn on their hearts that He truly lived on earth. Reveal to them that Jesus was born through the waters of natural child-birth and that He launched His ministry through the waters of baptism. Make it clear to my lost family and friends that He didn’t come to condemn them, but to identify  with them and to save them. Help them to understand the power of the blood that was shed on the cross for them. Fill them with faith that will cause them to reach out and accept the blood-sacrifice that can save them and cleanse their sin. I ask that You will speak to them through the power of the water, His human nature that identifies with them and feels their frailty, and also through the power of His blood, which can cleanse their sin and conscience (Hebrews 9:13-14). Make Jesus alive to them through the power of the Holy Spirit. I ask this in Jesus name, the Savior of the World, amen. 

1 John 5:6-9

In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Missions: Reaching the World

Over the last two weeks I’ve been in the Bahamas and Honduras seeking the will of God and doing the work of the Kingdom. Doors to nations are opening up almost monthly.  There’s more opportunity than I have funds to do.  

In April, we’re going to conduct a miracle, healing and evangelistic crusade in Ghana.  We’re going to plant a church on the Square where we’ll be doing the crusade. We’re hoping to sign the lease on the building in the next two weeks and my team on the ground is already working to make this effort a success. We’re believing for thousands to be saved.
