We need grace-filled prophets and preachers. There are too many well-meaning people who attempt to use guilt to bring about true holiness. A godly confrontation regarding sin should inspire confidence to go to God to receive the healing that only He can give. Manipulating people with guilt, even with good intentions, will never bring the Church into its full potential. Pray with me that God will fill the Church with grace-filled prophets who will inspire hope among His people and will motivate them to enter His presence.

Prayer
Holy Spirit, I understand that the standard for prophets and ministers is the same standard for me as a disciple. I must acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and walk in love. This is true of all the saints. This powerful combination gives me confidence to approach You and ultimately prepares me for the judgement seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10). False prophets will arise seeking to manipulate believers by placing the fear of judgement and of condemnation upon them. This is not of You! I pray that manipulators who misuse “their” gifts of prophecy and discernment to undermine one’s confidence before You will be exposed as false prophets. Don’t just expose bad words; expose evil intent. Manipulation is not of You. True prophets speak love and instill confidence in people. Give us true prophets who inspire confidence in grace and drive out the fear that would keep us from approaching Your throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). Raise up true prophets of grace in the Church. Prophets who have the power to drive out sin through the sanctifying power of love and grace. Build the Church in Jesus’ name, amen.
1 John 4:13-16
This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
