The nations need God, but they also need leaders that can point the people toward Him.  If you feel that our nations needs God’s help, then pray this prayer with me based on Hosea 5:10-15. Let’s cry out for revival in the land.

Prayer

The leaders in the land are thieves at best! They are drowning in a sea of corruption and You don’t help, because they refuse to ask for help. Our nation is oppressed by other nations because wickedness doesn’t work.  When they see our frailty rather than turn to You, they turn to other nations.  How helpless and hopeless is this. It looks like You are dismantling us piece by piece. Thankfully You are sitting in Your lion’s den, waiting for us to repent.  So Lord, I petition to Your mercy and compassion. Give grace to our land and national and local leaders, draw us as a people back to You, and when we repent I know You will respond in kindness.

Hosea 5:10-15

Judah’s leaders are like those who move boundary stones. I will pour out my wrath on them like a flood of water. Ephraim is oppressed, trampled in judgment,intent on pursuing idols. I am like a moth to Ephraim, like rot to the people of Judah. “When Ephraim saw his sickness, and Judah his sores, then Ephraim turned to Assyria, and sent to the great king for help.But he is not able to cure you, not able to heal your sores. For I will be like a lion to Ephraim, like a great lion to Judah.I will tear them to pieces and go away; I will carry them off, with no one to rescue them.Then I will return to my lair until they have borne their guilt and seek my face—in their misery they will earnestly seek me.”

Help Me Help People Grow!

Most people don’t know where to start growing spiritually. I can assure you the starting point is prayer and Bible reading. Still most people don’t know how or where to start.  Royal Perspectives is a great place to start.  My desire is to connect people to God by connecting them to the scriptures and prayer.  When one prays the Bible, they pray the perfect will of God. Praying the scriptures consistently will produce spiritual growth.

As people pray the written prayers, they catch prayer in their spirit.  When this happens people discover the God that saved them.
