Even though we live in an age of digital relationships, we still need face to face relationships.  The Apostle John knew that to be true, and it is still true today. Discipleship and fellowship need to occur within the church. When we have deep and transparent relationships, they become life-giving to us.  So pray with me that we will have intimate friendships within the church, and that every Bible-believing body of believers will develop strong relational ties. If this prayer based on 2 John 1:12 ministers to you, type amen, then share it on all your social media platforms. 

Prayer:

Father, in an age of distraction, social media and communication technology, nothing replaces face to face interaction with our brothers and sisters in Christ. You’ve called us to intimate, friendly and bold relationships with one another. Keep us from isolating ourselves and may we pursue those that seek to isolate themselves.  Manifest the love You’ve called us to walk in within our relationships in the name of Jesus, a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

2 John 1:12

I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete.
