Knowledge is more valuable than gold, but knowledge of God is the most precious commodity in the universe. Blessed is the man or woman who has sought understanding of the Holy.  May our daily prayers constantly be filled with the request that the Father will open our eyes and mind to who He is and the desires of His heart.  May the Holy Spirit give us an understanding of His word that is more than just precept, but is living and active in our inner man.  So why don’t you pray this prayer for knowledge with me.

Prayer

O God our ignorance is deadly!  Our ignorance of You causes us to destroy ourselves, but it does not stop there.  We even destroy our children and grandchildren.  Our ignorance of You and Your ways causes us to tear down culture and society brick by brick.  Everything we touch we break because we act without knowing Your ways.  O Lord, fill me with knowledge of You.  Fill this land with the knowledge of You.  Build my life on the wisdom of Your ways and the foundation of Your character.  Let every action I take be based on the word of God.  Let self-destruction be replaced with blessing and prosperity in Jesus name.

Hosea 4:6

“…my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.”
