Psalm 112 paints a powerful picture of the person who truly fears the Lord—steady, generous, courageous, and abundantly blessed. This prayer helps us align our hearts with that vision, asking God to shape our character and release His promises over our lives. As you pray through it, let your faith rise for consistency, legacy, and divine impact. God is calling His people to live boldly and shine brightly in dark places. If this prayer speaks to you, be a blessing to someone else—share it on social media, through email or text, and help spread the Word that those who fear the Lord will never be shaken!
Prayer
Father, in this Psalm You define the fear of the Lord and explain the benefits of it. So first, make me into a man/woman that fears God. Give me a love for Your commandments! I will love obedience, live compassionately and give loans to the down and out! I commit to justice! My commitment will be rooted in consistent trust in You. My faith will not swing between highs and lows, but will be consistent and steady just like my emotions! I’ll give to the poor because I fear You. As I walk out my commitments I lay claim to my benefits. Make me mighty in the land! Fill my house with wealth and riches. When I walk into dark situations cloaked in evil, chaos and ignorance, then through me shine righteousness, order and revelation! By Your grace I’ll never be shaken, at least over the long-term. Give me an enduring legacy that lives on. Make me fearless and anxiety free! I will triumph in every battle! Give me a powerful anointing. Exalt it so everyone sees Your supernatural hand upon my life. Release Your power to me in Jesus name, amen.
Psalm 112:1-10
Praise the Lord. Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands. Their children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous. Good will come to those who are generous and lend freely, who conduct their affairs with justice. Surely the righteous will never be shaken; they will be remembered forever. They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes. They have freely scattered their gifts to the poor, their righteousness endures forever; their horn will be lifted high in honor. The wicked will see and be vexed, they will gnash their teeth and waste away; the longings of the wicked will come to nothing.
