We need God and people. This prayer helps us to get our relationships right with God at the center of them. It’s crafted from Colossians 3:17-4:1.  Why don’t you pray this prayer, then share it with all your friends.

Prayer

Jesus, help Your people to thrive through humility in their core relationships. Set Your people apart from the world and show the honor and humility of the Kingdom of God. Help the married women in the church to listen and submit themselves to their husbands in times of conflict.  Help them to submit their services, gifts and abilities to the development of their marriages. Fill the church with husbands that are considerate and with loving attitudes toward their wives. Raise up thoughtful, kind and gentle men. Teach us how to raise up obedient children. Shape parents into leaders that teach and inspire. May they never discourage. As we labor in our vocations give us a humble and submissive attitude toward our authorities.  Our work ethic will be inspired by worship and excellence to You. If we’re lazy and slack, then we will pay the consequences. Give us leaders and business owners that seek to provide fair wages for their employees. Use them to prosper others. Set Your people apart for Your glory in Jesus name, amen.

Colossians 3:17-4:1

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord. Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged. Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.  Masters, provide your slaves with what is right and fair, because you know that you also have a Master in heaven.
