The true Christian will face persecution. The believer that seeks to achieve for the glory of God will be attacked by those that love the mundane. Slowing down for the weak and the hurting will enrage the impatient. Christians will have enemies, but our enemies will not prosper. God intervenes on our behalf when we are actively seeking Him. This prayer, crafted from Psalms 43, gives us biblical words for vindication. If you need to be vindicated from the indictments of our enemies, then pray this prayer with me and share it with your friends. 

Prayer

I declare there’s no need for me to be depressed. My enemies will not win. I will praise You, in faith, right now, knowing You’ll crush my enemies under Your hands. I have sought Your face and the righteous and the wicked will observe how You work on behalf of those that seek You. I love You, and victory by victory, You will lead me back into Your presence. I love You and I rejoice in who You are!

Psalms 43: 1-5

Vindicate me, my God, and plead my cause against an unfaithful nation. Rescue me from those who are deceitful and wicked. You are God my stronghold. Why have you rejected me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?

Send me your light and your faithful care, let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy mountain, to the place where you dwell. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and my delight. I will praise you with the lyre, O God, my God.

Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
