A Prayer of Thanksgiving for the Chosen in Christ ~ Based on 2 John 1:1

As a disciple of Jesus, we should love what God loves. We should rejoice in what He has given and delight in what He chooses. God, in His wisdom, has chosen you, along with every other believer on the planet. In light of this we should love his people, but also be thankful for the fact that He has chosen us.

Prayer

Father, thank You that I’ve been chosen in You. I didn’t choose You, but You chose me (John 15:16). Hallelujah!!! You’ve also chosen Your people, Your church and the elderships within our churches. You’re the sovereign God. You’re the Lord of the church. Give me love for Your chosen people. Fill me with love for Your people. Teach me to love them with Your heart. Help me to love them, forgive them, relate to them and serve them just as You do in Jesus name, amen.
