I’ve been learning that gratitude and thankfulness are the pathway to a happy life. There’s nothing I can think of that I should thank God for more than my salvation and his work on the cross. This prayer takes Paul’s salutation from Galatians and turns it into a prayer of thanksgiving. Pray this prayer. Turn it into your own words, then share it with the world. 

Prayer

Jesus, thank You for rescuing me from this evil age! You gave Yourself for me! I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.  You have lavished me with grace and mercy. Cause my life to multiply the glory that the Father receives. Thank You for the cross. I love You. You deserve all the praise.

Galatians 1:3-5

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
