Praise and thanksgiving are at the core of true worship. This Psalm reminds us that all of creation is called to rejoice in the Lord because He is good, faithful, and unchanging. We were made to praise Him—not just with our words, but with our lives. Every moment of gratitude, every song of joy, and every act of worship is a declaration of who He is. When we approach His presence, we don’t come in fear but with celebration, knowing that He is our Creator, our Shepherd, and our constant source of goodness.

Prayer

Lord, You’re so good. Creation shouts Your praises. You make me so happy! When I approach Your throne I come bringing joyful songs. You created me and You built me to offer You praise and thanksgiving. I will live a life of thanksgiving before You! My life will be a song of praise. When I seek Your presence I come singing songs of Your wonderful character. Your goodness is the one constant and never changing reality in throughout creation. You never change and for that I thank You. 

Psalm 100:1-5

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations.
