I love my four daughters, and because I love them I discipline them.  I do this so they will find the discipline within themselves to reach their potential. The Father does the same to us. He disciplines us because He loves us.  When we repent, then He awakens us to His manifest presence. He draws us to His love.  This is where Hosea pointed his countrymen, and it is where he points us today. So let’s respond to God’s training with repentance so we can experience all of the goodness of who He is.  Let’s pray this prayer together.

Prayer

Lord, I return to You, and I pray that all Your backslidden children return to You as well. Your discipline has torn my heart right out of my chest.  I know when I crawl back in Your lap, You will heal my broken heart.  You will revive my life.  You will restore me just as You restored the Messiah from the grave in 3 days.  You are restoring me to Your manifest presence.  I acknowledge You: Your word, Your ways, Your presence.  I acknowledge You have been right all the way through my rebellion.  I have been wrong.  You are good, and my wounds, my failures, my mistakes are my doing.   Your people’s repentance puts a skip in Your step.  When we repent You show up. Every time! Just like the sunrise.    O Lord, Your manifest Presence is so good. Just as the rain restores the dried cracked Earth, so Your Manifest presence restores me.  Thank You!

Hosea 6:1-3

Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the Lord: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.

Most people don’t know where to start growing spiritually. I can assure you the starting point is prayer and Bible reading. Still most people don’t know how or where to start.  Royal Perspectives is a great place to start.  My desire is to connect people to God by connecting them to the scriptures and prayer.  When one prays the Bible, they pray the perfect will of God. Praying the scriptures consistently will produce spiritual growth.

As people pray the written prayers, they catch prayer in their spirit.  When this happens people discover the God that saved them.
