The apostle John was encouraged by the testimony of hearing that his disciples were faithful to the truth. We have the opportunity to encourage all believers through our words and actions. This prayer crafted from 3 John 1:3 asks the Father to help make us an encouragement to others. Pray this prayer with me, then share it with your friends.

Prayer:

Father, may I have a testimony where my brothers and sisters in the Lord testify of my faithfulness to You. I long for a personal devotion that not only helps to build my relationship with You, but also encourages others in the body of Christ. Do this in Jesus’ name.

3 John 1:3

It gave me great joy when some believers came and testified about your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.
