In many parts of the world people’s lives are dominated by organized crime. This could be the mob, cartells, gangs or religious extremists. Yet the Father wants his people free to worship and prosper. This prayer that’s crafted from Psalm 64 asks for personal protection and for the destruction of crime networks that war against God’s people. Pray this prayer then share it with your friends so we can tear down every system of wickedness in the world. 

Prayer

Holy Spirit, point my feet away from criminals. Prevent me from being the innocent bystander that falls in their web of schemes! These wicked evildoers plan on catching the innocent. They teach each other the trade of crime. Father, crush these justice thwarters! Take out each crime network like a sniper takes out key targets on the battlefield. Make their injustice Your target. I pray everyone will be shocked at Your quick action and the righteous will thrive in a land of freedom and justice. May You be satisfied in Your creation in Jesus name, amen.

Psalms 64:1-10

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plots of evildoers. They sharpen their tongues like swords and aim cruel words like deadly arrows. They shoot from ambush at the innocent; they shoot suddenly, without fear. They encourage each other in evil plans, they talk about hiding their snares; they say, “Who will see it?” They plot injustice and say, “We have devised a perfect plan!” Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.

But God will shoot them with his arrows; they will suddenly be struck down. He will turn their own tongues against them and bring them to ruin; all who see them will shake their heads in scorn. All people will fear; they will proclaim the works of God and ponder what he has done. The righteous will rejoice in the Lord and take refuge in him; all the upright in heart will glory in him!
