Sometimes we get sidetracked from what’s really important. When this happens we get stagnated in our faith.  Use this short prayer as a tool to help you regain focus on what’s important. Maybe it will jumpstart some fresh perspective in your life. 

Prayer

Father, I pray that what You’ve deposited within me at the moment of my conversion will remain with me forever. Develop my relationship with You. By Your grace, I will always progress and I’ll never retreat. Empower me to think, live, and act upon the teaching of Christ.  As Your teachings remain in me, I will remain in You. Do this within me in Jesus’ name, amen. 

1 John 2:24

As for you, see that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.
