We can invest our lives into things that are unimportant or we can invest our lives into people. The way of Christ is pouring our lives into others, and this prayer can get us moving in that direction. In light of this, pray this prayer to sow more effectively into the lives of others. Prayer

Father, You’ve given me seeds. I have the choice to sow my seeds of talent and energy into the Spirit or into the flesh. If I sow into sinful things, then I’ll reap destruction. So by Your grace, I’m choosing to sow into Your people. Help me keep this in mind when I’m down and discouraged. When things look hopeless, if I’ve sowed good seed, then a righteous harvest is coming. When I sow into people I’ll receive a good harvest. Keep me motivated by this fact, and remind me to put Your people at the top of my priority list. Prompt me to constantly serve and invest in people in Jesus name, amen.

Galatians 6:7-10

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
