The very nature of the ministry puts stress on the pastor’s family. This prayer is designed to uplift the pastor’s family so they can thrive in the ministry. You want your pastor’s family to thrive so share this prayer with the people in your church and cover your pastor’s family in prayer. 

Prayer

Father, bless our pastor’s family. Bless their spouses with close friends within the church. Give them friends of influence and the freedom to accomplish their primary call. Remove all unbiblical and unrealistic expectations from them. Instill the drive in them to accomplish the will of God rather than conforming to the will of man. During times of trial, give them complete peace. Bless their children. Make the ministry a blessing to their life. May they never experience lack due to the ministry and help them to find the ministry as a blessing. Bless them with godly friends who will serve as a barrier of protection around them. Protect them from sexual sin. Make their home a place of fun, fellowship, and laughter. Empower them to take their parents’ spiritual influence to a greater heights and a new levels. They’re stepping into their callings. Raise them up to a place of influence. I declare their influence is positive, godly and holy. I thank You there’s not one area of their life that’s not flourishing. Do this for your glory in Jesus’ name, amen.

Psalms 45:9-17

Daughters of kings are among your honored women; at your right hand is the royal bride in gold of Ophir. Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention: Forget your people and your father’s house. Let the king be enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your lord. The city of Tyre will come with a gift, people of wealth will seek your favor. All glorious is the princess within her chamber; her gown is interwoven with gold. In embroidered garments she is led to the king; her virgin companions follow her— those brought to be with her.

Led in with joy and gladness, they enter the palace of the king. Your sons will take the place of your fathers; you will make them princes throughout the land. I will perpetuate your memory through all generations; therefore the nations will praise you for ever and ever.
